Elkton Fall Fest Aftermath

The Elkton Fall Fest this year was smaller than usual.  Less people came out to enjoy the event probably because the threat of rain all day and the fact that it was a little chilly.  The firefighter challenge brought a big crowd and there was excitement behind main street all morning and afternoon.
One of the fun activities for kids at the Elkton Fall Fest is to take
a martial arts class and try and break a board.
Check out this groupof 4-6 year olds!
Aside from the small population at the gathering, ATA Elkton inspired 37 families to come to our school this week and more than that to break a board.  Our classes at the event were bigger than they have ever been and the students showed more discipline and focus than last year.  Overall, the event was a success and we're looking forward to attending the event next year.

The next even is our 8th County Wide Fire Prevention Day at the North East Wal Mart from 10am - 2pm.  All of the Fire Companies and vendors will be there to show their support in Fire Prevention and ATA Elkton will come to host Child Safety activities through the morning and afternoon.
