Elkton Fall Fest Post #2

The Fall Fest in Elkton is a weekend filled with a variety of food, crafts, games, and entertainment for all ages to enjoy.  Among the events, our local firefighters will be competing in a nation-wide contest called the Firefighter Challenge.  This is a huge event to showcase the physical abilities of our local heroes.  With all of the vendors, crafts, shows, and food, your family will have a full day of fun and excitement.

ATA Elkton will be participating by hosting all of our classes right in the thick of the event, we’ll have a board breaking station for future students, and an info booth set up to recruit some new future leaders to our school!  Mr. Hayhurst will most likely be teaching all of the classes while other instructors socialize with our community.

Please make sure you come on Saturday for the normal classes!  The only changes is that there will be no HYPER/ XMA class or Instructor class – all the “rank” classes are going to be at the normal times.  Everyone should wear their full white uniforms and sneakers (shoes with laces, white if possible).  If you’d like to share the event with a friend, you’re more than welcome to; they can learn how to break a board!

Date:  9/17/11 between 9am – 3pm (come to YOUR normal class time)
Place:  on the west side of the Howard House restaurant in the parking lot next to the building with the ocean mural painting
Cost:  The event is free to get in, parking will be tough so plan accordingly.  You can eat at the event and enjoy the shows so bring an ATA Tshirt or HYPER Tshirt too
